The following is a report on the phytotherapeutic applications for treating digestive system disorders. Part A will focus on 30 different types of herbs that may be used, their therapeutic actions and phytochemicals that enhance these actions. Part B focuses on four specific disorders within the digestive system. For each disorder a herbal formula composed of different herbs will be prescribed for that disorder.
